Medan - FKM USU: Master's and Doctoral Study Program IKM FKM USU held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) in the context of revising the curriculum of the two study programs, Thursday (2 November 2023). The FGD which took place in the FKM USU Meeting Room was opened by the Dean of FKM USU Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si. FGD participants are professional organizations, graduate users and FKM USU work partners such as: Health Service of Sumatera Utara Provincial, Health Service of Medan City Government, H. Adam Malik Hospital Medan, BTKL-PP Medan, KKP Belawan, BKKBN of Sumatera Utara Province, Medan Health Polytechnic, Health of BPJS Medan, Wulan Windi Hospital representing private hospitals, PERSI Sumatera Utara, IAKMI Sumatera Utara, PERSAKMI Sumatera Utara, PPPKMI Sumatera Utara, and IKA FKM USU. In her speech, Prof. Ida said that the purpose of this FGD was to obtain input from stakeholders regarding the competency of graduates produced by FKM USU. "We want to identify to what extent the existing curriculum can meet the needs of the dynamic world of work, and input from this FGD will be used to review the existing curriculum," said Prof Ida. Before getting input from the FGD participants, the Head of the IKM FKM USU S2/S3 Study Program, Dra. Nurmaini, M.K.M., Ph.D. explains the IKM S2/S3 Study Program curriculum that is currently being implemented. The FGD participants provided input regarding the competencies that master's and doctoral graduates at FKM USU need to have. The discussion was guided by the Secretary Masters Study Program of IKM FKM USU, Dr. Drs. R. Kintoko Rochadi, M.K.M.
