Lecturer at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Sumatera Utara with the functional position of Lector. The focus of the field of interest is Environmental Health Risk Analysis and Environmental Health Epidemiology. The following are some of the research projects that have been carried out in accordance with scientific interests:
Risk Analysis of Manganese Intake from Well Water Around the Rawakucing Tangerang Final Disposal Site (TPA).
Study of the risks of three heavy metals, namely mercury, lead, and chromium in well water belonging to the people who live around the Namo Bintang TPA.
Analysis of risks and health problems due to indoor pollution from benzene, toluene, and xylene from glue and paint/dyes in the shoe-making and printing/advertising industries.
14 scientific articles have been produced and published in accredited national journals and international journals. The title of the scientific article "Correlation of Cadmium Intake from Water and Biomarkers in Residents Living Around Namo Bintang Dumpsite" was published in the Indonesian Journal of Chemistry (indexed in Scopus Q3). Currently a member of the Kedai Reka research team working on the project "Downstreaming TB transmission prevention using Sosa bottle containers containing lysol integrated with the DOTS program to eliminate TB."
