Lecturer at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Sumatera Utara, with the functional position of Head Lector and expertise in Infectious Disease Epidemiology. Received her PhD from the University of Malaya in 2013 with the dissertation title "Determinant for disease progression in AIDS patients receiving treatment in the University of Malaya Medical Centre." The latest publication in the Journal of Public Health in Practice (indexed in Scopus Q2) has the title "Factors influencing the COVID-19 pandemic situation in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Taiwan in 2021." Currently working on an Indonesian collaborative research project titled "Impact of Universal Health Coverage before and after the COVID-19 Pandemic" with partners Universitas Airlangga, Universitas Andalas dan University of Malaya, which will result in four publications in reputable international journals. Apart from that, she is also part of the Kedai Reka research team with the title "Downstreaming the prevention of TB transmission through containers of Sosa bottles containing lysol integrated with the DOTS program to eliminate TB" with the output target of intellectual property rights in the form of patents.
